Walking the Broadwalk: North to South
Start near Johnson Street at the northern end and head south toward Hollywood Beach Park. The path stays level and wide enough for strollers, wheelchairs, and the free beach cruiser bicycles available to Villa Sinclair guests. Morning walkers often see fishermen at the pier and paddleboarders launching before the midday crowd arrives.

Activities Along the Promenade
Rent a bicycle or bring your own. The Broadwalk is one of the few South Florida paths where cyclists and pedestrians share a dedicated oceanfront lane without highway traffic. Jet ski rentals, parasailing, and fishing charters operate from operators near the pier during peak season.
The last Friday of each month, classic and antique cars line the Broadwalk for the Hollywood Beach Dream Car Show. Street performers, art vendors, and food trucks add to the weekend atmosphere from November through April when snowbirds fill South Florida hotels.
Best Times to Visit the Broadwalk
Sunrise between 6:30 and 7:30 AM draws joggers and photographers when the boardwalk is quiet and cool. Late afternoon, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, brings the best people-watching as diners fill terrace tables. Evenings after 8:00 PM stay lively near the pier and bar district but grow peaceful toward the residential blocks near Polk Street.
Winter months (December through April) see the heaviest foot traffic. Summer afternoons can be hot, so plan a mid-day break at the Villa Sinclair Beach Club with cabana shade, cold drinks, and our outdoor Vita SPA hot tub before returning to the sand.
